My journey into design wasn’t just about creating beautiful things—it was about reclaiming myself.

As a child, I was always drawn to vibrant colours, bold patterns, and anything that sparkled. Fashion, interiors, art—I loved it all. But somewhere along the way, I lost myself. My twenties became a blur of uninspiring office jobs, muted colours, and a toxic marriage that drained every ounce of my confidence. I stopped expressing myself. I stopped feeling like me.

But here’s the thing—when we feel the most disconnected from ourselves, we start searching for something deeper. For me, that search led me back to creativity.

I started small—a wedding styling business, then curated gift boxes—until I finally discovered my love for wall art and interior design. What started as an escape from a life that felt like it was drowning me soon became my salvation. Designing helped me rediscover joy, reclaim my confidence, and step into my own power. It wasn’t just about making art—it was about making a statement.

And that’s what Kayleigh Marie Designs is all about.
